abrdn New India Investment Trust Plc seeks world-class, well-governed companies at the heart of India's growth.
It was listed in March 1994 as Morgan Grenfell Latin American Companies Trust PLC, before in 2000 becoming Deutsche Latin American Companies Trust PLC, then in late 2004 switched focus to the other side of the globe and became New India Investment Trust PLC, with Aberdeen taking over management in early 2017, with a rebranding to the new abrdn name in March 2023.
